William Byrd Community House is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization; therefore, your contribution is tax deductible. Your donation may also qualify for a state tax credit through the Neighborhood Assistance Program. Contact our Development Office for more details.

Volunteer!
Your time and skills are wonderful resources for William Byrd Community House. Do you like to read stories? Have you ever tutored a child? Interested in mentoring a young person? Do you love gardening or cooking? How about sharing your computer expertise or your knowledge of financial planning? Can you organize a group of friends to work on a paint project, classify books in the library, plan and put on a fundraising event, or cut the grass? Maybe you have an idea that you can share with us?

Be your own Event Coordinator
Hold your own special event or fundraiser for William Byrd. Each year individuals, organization, clubs and businesses find their own unique ways to help. Some examples: Host a Cocktail Party, Birthday Party, Toy Drive, Bake Sale, Healthy Snacks Pantry Drive, Play Golf and sponsor holes, and many more.
